Pad Protect absorbent pads with increased absorption capacity feature extended edges and a functional barrier designed for fresh food packaging applications. The pads are available with absorption capacities ranging from MP2500 to MP10000.
 
Pad Protect absorbent pads containing superabsorbent material are designed for packaging fresh food products with high drip levels. The functional barrier separates the absorbent layer from the food product, reducing direct contact with substances contained in the superabsorbent core.
The pads are suitable for packaging:
  • fresh meat
  • poultry
  • fish
  • fruit
including packaging systems utilizing MAP technology (Modified Atmosphere Packaging).
